Join us for a full-day photography workshop in Dartmoor, led by renowned photographer Neil Burnell and woodland specialist Lee Cooper. This immersive experience, beginning at sunrise, will focus on capturing the beauty of Dartmoor’s ancient woodlands during the vibrant spring season.
Participants will receive expert guidance on woodland photography techniques and composition, learning how to identify and craft compelling images in dynamic spring conditions. (Limited to 6 Participants)

Workshops are run in a relaxed, friendly manner and are aimed at photographers of all levels. Days in the field are planned flexibly and on a day-by-day basis. It’s important not to be too rigid in terms of locations, as the weather is constantly changing.
Dartmoor Photography Group Workshop (Max 6 Participants)
This intimate group workshop, capped at 6 participants, guarantees personalized attention and a chance to explore our favorite locations in optimal conditions. When registering, please share any specific needs or goals you have for the session.
We’ll cover key topics like planning a woodland shoot, choosing locations based on weather and conditions, and leveraging seasonal changes for stunning results. You only need a basic understanding of your camera, as we’ll guide you through best practices for setting it up, with a focus on woodland photography.
Each workshop is tailored to the day’s unique weather and conditions, allowing us to create diverse images and make the most of the available light and skies. You’ll receive constructive feedback and practical advice to elevate your landscape photography, regardless of your experience level.
