ABOUT
Infrared
Feelings was captured in a woodland just a 10-minute walk from my home in Brixham, during the Covid lockdown. The constraints of that period were challenging, yet they inspired me to explore and create with the natural beauty right on my doorstep. To me, photography transcends visiting well-known locations to capture familiar scenes. It’s about discovering the unique and crafting original compositions. Feelings embodies this philosophy, reflecting a deeply personal and creative response to the world around me. This image, born from limitation, is now available for release on SuperRare.

ABOUT
Below Zero: Part of the Whispers Series
Below Zero holds profound personal significance and is now available for release on SuperRare. Captured shortly after a major operation to repair a detached retina—a challenging period marked by uncertainty about my vision—this image represents a triumphant return to photography. Following a successful surgery and a grueling two-week recovery period, my sight was fully restored. Below Zero marks the first photograph I took post-recovery, featuring a local tree in Brixham. Remarkably, this image captures a rare snowfall in a region where snow is an extraordinary event; the last recorded snowfall here occurred when I was 12, and I am now 47. This unique moment, combined with its personal significance, makes Below Zero a truly exceptional piece.
